Hand Brake Valve

Through ProVia’s hand brake valve a sensitive graduated actuation of the auxiliary brake and operation of the parking brake system is enabled. Active braking control is possible based on a precise air pressure regulation in a dual-circuit brake system. By gradually releasing the air from the connected Tristop™ or spring brake actuators the hand brake valve enables a controlled deceleration of the vehicle.
